CHICAGO (WLS) -- Kids at a North Side elementary school help dedicate their newly remodeled playground.
Sunday Mayor Rahm Emanuel cut the ribbon on Ravenswood Elementary School playground, which now features a new artificial turf surface and an outdoor classroom amphitheater.
The playlot is one of 103 across the city to be refurbished under the mayor's "Chicago Plays" program to make safer places for kids to play.
