Alessi Presents "In The Kitchen" - Golden Moore
In our segment "In the Kitchen" we challenge cooks of all walks of life to create a dish - using the ingredients we give them. We unveil which ingredients they use at the top of the show - and they have to create a dish by the time we get to their segment.
Today's "In the Kitchen" contestant is Golden Moore! She's an Auburn-Gresham native and a Sous Chef at Mt. Sinai's WIC program who got a chance to strut her stuff on the Food Network's "Cutthroat Kitchen." So we thought she's be great for our challenge!
We set out Alessi products that must be used, one protein and some kitchen staples - then the cook needs to work their magic!
Golden's products were:
- Risotto with porcinni mushroom
- Jarred red & yellow peppers
- 2 oz. sun dried tomatoes
- Arborio Rice
