CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Taste of Chicago is a few weeks away, but the public can catch a taste of this year's vendors 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in Daley Plaza.
The Taste preview will feature eight restaurants participating in the annual food festival. Some of the items that will be available are smoked alligator sausage, Cuban Pork Tamale, gelato, BBQ rib tips and jerk chicken.
Vendors will only accept cash.

The 35th Annual Taste of Chicago will be held July 8-12 in Grant Park. The food festival will run 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
