CHICAGO (WLS) -- There are restrictions in place at two suburban hospitals because of the outbreak of enterovirus 68.
It starts like the common cold, but for some kids, it can cause wheezing and difficulty breathing.
Advocate Children's Hospitals in Oak Lawn and Park Ridge say they're both investigating if clusters of respiratory illnesses are the virus.
Because of the outbreak, no one under the age of 18, or anyone over 18 with respiratory illness symptoms will be allowed in inpatient areas of the hospitals.
