PALOS HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- Ghouls and goblins will be on the run on October 31, 2015, and not just because it's time to trick-or-treat. The Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills is hosting a Halloween 5K to help support the Moraine Valley Community College Foundation. The foundation provides need-based scholarships to students including FitRec employees. The 5K races around and through the Moraine Valley campus. There's also a pumpkin patch for children to play and other family activities; such as pumpkin decorating, face painting, a mummy race, and trunk-or-treating.
Angela Carinella and Kari Pantol with Moraine Valley Community College joined ABC7 Eyewitness News live from the Halloween 5K to talk about all the fun.
