1 dead, 1 injured in Aurora shooting

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- Daniel Spencer, 46, was killed in a drive-by shooting in the 200-block of West Park Avenue in Aurora, Ill. A second man, 29, was wounded.

No one is in custody, police said.

Police say someone opened fire from inside a silver, older model SUV around 11:35 p.m. Saturday. Spencer was found a block away with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to his head.

Around midnight, the 29-year-old man was dropped off at Mercy Hospital. He had been walking in the same area when he was shot in the shoulder. He ran to a friend's home and treated and released.
