1 hospitalized after large building fire in Utica

UTICA, Ill. (WLS) -- One person was hospitalized after a large building fire in Utica, police said.

Firefighters responded to the fire around 3:05 a.m. Sunday in the 100-block of Mill Street, finding heavy smoke coming from the second story windows of the building, officials said.

An unresponsive man was pulled from the building and hospitalized.

Fire officials say firefighters from three counties responded to the blaze, which has been struck out. No other details have been released.
