OAK LAWN, Ill. (WLS) -- Police have charged two men in connection with a bank heist in southwest suburban Oak Lawn.
The robbery happened last month at the U.S. Bank on South Central Avenue. Officials say the men involved were caught on surveillance video, which allegedly shows one holding employees and customers at gunpoint while another forced an employee to open the bank's vault.
Prosecutors say 18-year-old Terrell Norwood and 19-year-old Xavier Baker got away with more than $114,000.
Police arrested the pair a day later after a family member tipped them off.
