2-year-old girl falls out of 4th floor window

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 2-year-old girl is recovering Saturday afternoon after falling out of a fourth floor window of an apartment building and landing in some shrubbery.

It happened just after 8:30 Friday night in the 2000 block of South Racine.

The child was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.

No word yet on the circumstances of how she fell out that window.
