CHICAGO (WLS) -- The victims of the AirAsia Flight 8501 crash were remembered during a vigil in Chicago this weekend.
The event was organized by the Malaysian Club of Chicago.
One speaker noted that this is the third tragedy involving a Malaysia-based airline in recent months. Speakers offered prayers for those who lost their lives and for their families.
Rough weather Sunday again prevented searchers from reaching a large object on the ocean floor, which is believed to be the plane's fuselage. The disaster, which happened over the Java Sea last week, killed all 162 people on board. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
