Target theft suspect identified after calling security to complain
Fresno Police say the suspect called the security department at Target and yelled at them for trying to stop the theft.

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno Police say the suspect called the security department at Target and yelled at them for trying to stop the theft.

Police say 43-year-old Derek Anthony and 35-year-old Marie Guazon were trying walk out of the Target store on Shaw and Marks with about $200 in printer ink when they were confronted by Target security. After a scuffle Anthony showed store security a handgun in his waistband asking, "do you want to get shot?" Both Anthony and Guazon fled in a silver Mercedes SUV.

About two hours later, police say Anthony called the Target store and yelled at security about trying to stop the theft. As a result of the call, the store security was able to get Anthony's cell number which allowed police to identify him.

Police say the two suspects are also believed to have stolen nearly $500 worth of printer ink from the Target store in River Park.

Police are now looking for Anthony and Guazon. If you know where they are, you are asked to call the Fresno Police Department and reference case number 16-13360.
