Body of missing Grayslake man found in Lake Villa Twp. ditch

The body of a 24-year-old Grayslake man who was reported missing last week was found Sunday in a ditch in suburban Lake Village Township, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

A bicyclist spotted a motorcycle in a ditch at about 11:40 a.m. near Route 45 and Dada Drive.

Deputies responded to the scene and found the body of Seth J. Goodwin, who was driving the motorcycle. He was reported missing on Tuesday after he did not arrive at his girlfriend's home as planned.

Police are investigating.
