CHICAGO (WLS) -- An 8-year-old boy was shot in the face after a gun went off during a struggle between family members near 77th and Loomis, police said.
Police said the boy suffered a graze wound and is in good condition.
Two of the boy's older male relatives were involved in a domestic dispute when the gun accidentally discharged, police said.
The boy was driven by family to Holy Cross Hospital and he was later transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital. He was listed in good condition, police said.
It was not immediately known early Thursday whether either of the male relatives had been taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
