Car crashes through Wisconsin hotel room

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLS) -- A Wisconsin hotel looks more like a garage right now after a car crashed through its walls.

The driver allegedly narrowly missed two people in one of the hotel's rooms before coming to a stop in an inside hallway, officials said. The incident happened overnight at the Comfort Inn and Suites near I-94 and Wisconsin State Highway 50. That's just over the Illinois-Wisconsin border.

Police said it's not clear what caused the car to go out of control.

Despite heavy damage to the hotel both inside and out, there have been no serious injuries reported.

Firefighters say all displaced guests were put in other rooms for the night.
