Chicago cop to file lawsuit against Quintonio LeGrier's estate

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago police officer who responded to a call that ended with the shootings of Quintonio LeGrier and Bettie Jones will file a lawsuit.

Attorney Joel Brodsky said he's filing a civil lawsuit against LeGrier's estate. Brodsky says the officer was traumatized by Jones' death and blames LeGrier for his emotional distress.

The suit must be filed by the end of February.
