Crews contain fire at North Riverside Park Mall loading dock

NORTH RIVERSIDE, Ill. (WLS) -- Firefighters contained a smoky fire to a loading dock at North Riverside Park Mall.

The fire broke out just before 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Carson Pirie Scott loading dock in the 7500-block of Cermak Road. A number of crews remained on the scene as of 5:30 a.m. to ventilate the building.

There was no immediate word on whether other portions of the mall were affected.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
