CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Divvy bike-sharing program is getting ready to make a big expansion in the Chicago-area suburbs.
Gov. Pat Quinn announced a $3 million investment that brings it to the suburbs for the first time.
It will add 700 new bikes and 70 docking stations in Evanston, Oak Park and into more Chicago neighborhoods.
Oak Park will get 12 stations and Evanston will get eight.
