Eight displaced after Blue Island apartment fire

BLUE ISLAND, Ill. (WLS) -- Massive flames ripped through an apartment building in south suburban Blue Island, leaving eight people without a home.

Shortly after midnight Sunday, the roof of the building on Honore Street collapsed due to the blaze. The Red Cross is helping the residents who were displaced

No one was injured. Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
