Extra crews required to extinguish Bronzeville fire

Flames raced through a large apartment building in Bronzeville.

Firefighters had a tough time getting to the source of the fire, far into a three-story brownstone in the 3600-block of Martin Luther King Drive.

They had to call for more crews. Several firefighters suffered minor injuries.

Neighbors said the building has been vacant.
