CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Federal Aviation Administration rejected a request by three Chicago-area congressmen to conduct a new environmental impact study of the new runway configuration at O'Hare Airport.

Congressmen Jan Schakowsky, Michael Quigley and Tammy Duckworth asked for the study because the number of noise complaints has increased dramatically after flight patterns changed.

The congressmen said they are disappointed by the FAA's decision.
