Fighting to end assaults at music festivals

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The summer music festival season is upon us with concerts happening across the country. Chicago is home to some of the world's biggest festivals. Now a local non-profit is making it their mission to make sure everyone has a fun-filled and safe time.

Between Friends is an organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and building a community free of abuse. The group is teaming up with Rape Victim Advocates for a OurMusicMyBody campaign. The goal is to stop the culture of sexual assault at concerts and to raise awareness about the issues.

Ana DeBrock from Between Friends sat down with Eyewitness News to talk about the movement and to offer tips for a safer concert experience.
