Firefighter among 2 injured in recycling plant fire

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago firefighter was one of two people hurt after a fire broke out at a recycling plant on the city's Southwest Side Saturday afternoon.

The plant, located in the 2300-block of South Laflin Street in the city's Little Village neighborhood, was evacuated and the fire was put out a short time later.

Both victims are in stable condition. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
