South Shore garage fire spread to apartment building

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago firefighters battled a fire in the South Shore neighborhood on Sunday.

The fire started in a garage in the 7600 block of South Essex.

The fire department said the fire quickly spread to the apartment building.

There is no word yet on if anyone has been hurt.
