Funeral held for Quintonio LeGrier

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Family and friends gathered Saturday for the funeral of Quintonio LeGrier at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church.

The 19-year-old college student was killed by a Chicago police officer on Dec. 26, 2015, when officers responded to a 911 call that LeGrier was threatening his father with a baseball bat.

Police say the teen was combative. LeGrier's neighbor, Bettie Jones, was also killed in the shooting when she was opening the door for police. Police say her death was an accident.
