Girl, 17, fatally shot in car in Gary

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- A 17-year-old girl was fatally shot in northwest Indiana Wednesday night.

Police say the girl was in a car in Gary with several other people when she was shot. The other people in the car then drove to a McDonald's in Hammond and called police.

Investigators are now talking to everyone who was in the car with her.
