BALI, Indonesia -- Heather Mack, 19, of Chicago, is keeping her newborn daughter, Stella, with her at an Indonesian jail while on trial in the murder of her mother at a Bali resort.

Stella's father, Tommy Schaefer, 21, of Chicago, admitted to killing Sheila von Wiese-Mack in August 2014, but said it was in self-defense.
