Illinois State Rifle Association compares Rev. Michael Pfleger to ISIS

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Illinois State Rifle Association is comparing Rev. Michael Pfleger to the terrorist group ISIS that recently beheaded two American journalists.

On Saturday, Pfleger and other anti-gun violence activists will rally outside Chuck's Gun Shop in Riverdale.

Pfleger says the state rifle association has sent out what he's calling "hate email" against him and other activists.

"To me that just shows how absurd and crazy, you know they are, that they're referencing me to a terrorist group because I want common sense gun reform," said Pfleger.

The state rifle association calls Pfleger "militant" and says he and his supporters want to shut down local gun shops.
