Man charged with sexually assaulting a child in Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, Ill. (WLS) -- Woodstock police say they have charged Anthony Williams of Gary, Ind., with one count of Predatory Criminal Assault of a Child after responding to a report of a sexual assault of a minor under 13.

Police say officers met with the victim, the victim's mother and her boyfriend, Williams, 34, and subsequently arrested him. He was charged with the class X felony on Sunday and is currently in custody in lieu of $150,000 bond.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
