Man claiming to be Jesus allegedly wanted to kidnap presidential pet

WASHINGTON (WLS) -- A North Dakota man claiming to be Jesus and the son of John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe and allegedly planned to kidnap the president's dog was arrested in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

When the Secret Service searched Scott Davy Stockert's vehicle at a Hampton Inn, agents say they found a 12-gauge pump shotgun with a pistol grip, a bolt-action rifle, ammunition and a machete.

Stockert, 49, of Dickinson, N.D., told investigators he came to Washington to advocate for $99-per-month healthcare and to announce he was running for president.

The Obama family has two Portuguese water dogs named Bo and Sunny.
