CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel broke ground Saturday on a new playground in the Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.
The playground is located in the 1900 block of West Lunt Avenue and is one of three new playlots in Rogers Park. It is part of the mayor's program called "Chicago Plays" which is aimed at building and refurbishing 325 playgrounds across Chicago over the next five years.
The program's ultimate goal is for every Chicago resident to live within a 10 minute walk of a park.
