CHICAGO (WLS) -- Metra is changing its policy to making it easier to bring your bike on board.

There are two changes to the policy. The first change eliminates black-out dates, and instead, Metra will call them warning dates.

It will allow bikes on trains, but it will be up to the crew depending on how crowded the train is during a specific trip.

The second change will allow bikes on early morning rush trains that arrive before 6:30 a.m.
