Missing North Side woman, 87, found safe, CPD says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An 87-year-old woman who was reporting missing from Chicago's North Side was "located safely," according to the Chicago Police Department.

Officials did not release any other details. They had issued a critical alert for Violet "Gee Gee" Caine after she disappeared from St. Joseph Hospital near 2900 N. Lake Shore Drive on May 15th. A relative had dropped of Ms. Caine for a medical evaluation, but she walked away without being evaluated.
