No injuries in Palatine Holiday Inn Express fire

PALATINE, Ill. (WLS) -- No one was injured when a fire was reported Monday night at a Holiday Inn Express, Palatine fire officials said.

Officials said the Palatine Fire Department was called to a report of a fire at the six-story hotel in the 1500-block of East Dundee Road around 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Firefighters evacuated the hotel and extinguished the fire by 7:40 p.m. No injuries to any of the hotel's guests and staff or firefighters were reported.

The hotel's elevators are out of service and the fire is under investigation by the Palatine Fire Department.
