Palatine man, 31, trapped in rollover crash near Busse Woods

ELK GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Higgins Road was closed Wednesday between Arlington Heights Road and I-290 due to a rollover crash near Busse Woods.

At 6:53 a.m. Wednesday, first responders were seen trying to free a person from a black 2004 Subaru that had wrapped around a tree along Higgins near Arlington Heights.

Police say the preliminary investigation found a 31-year-old Palatine man lost control of his car and crashed into the tree heading eastbound. He was the only person in the car.

There is no word on the extent of the trapped person's injuries.
