Police investigate death of man found inside Oak Brook hotel

OAK BROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- Oak Brook police are investigating the death of a Wisconsin man found inside a hotel.

Officers were called to the Hyatt Lodge Hotel in the 2800-block of Jorie Boulevard around 5:40 a.m. Monday.

Investigators said an acquaintance found the man unresponsive in a hotel room. He was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities identified the man as Zachary Giebel, 25, of Pell Lake, Wis.

Investigators have not determined the cause of death.
