Police investigate multi-vehicle hit-and-run in Morton Grove

MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are investigating a multi-vehicle hit-and-run crash at Golf Road and Shermer Road in north suburban Morton Grove.

A witness said two cars were racing down Golf Road when they collided with an SUV. Police have not confirmed the number or type of vehicles involved in the crash, or confirmed any injuries or casualties. Police confirmed they are searching for a driver involved.

Golf Road is closed in both directions between Shermer and Washington, police said. They do not know when it will reopen.

An investigation is ongoing.
