Police locate suspect's vehicle in fatal Hammond hit-and-run

HAMMOND, Ind. (WLS) -- Police in Hammond, Ind. said they have found a car involved in a deadly hit-and-run on Saturday.



Guadalupe Medina, 59, was killed as he was crossing Columbia Avenue north of 164th Street near a Menard's store Saturday night, police said.



Witnesses told police the driver sped off in a black Lincoln.



Officers have identified a person of interest in the case, but no charges have been filed yet.
