CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said they have recovered evidence from a Southwest Side lagoon as part of an ongoing investigation of a missing Georgia woman.
Laneesha Miller, 28, was reported missing June 27. Her family called Chicago police when she failed to return home to Georgia.
Last week, authorities were seen draining the Marquette Park lagoon after receiving a tip connected to her disappearance.
Investigators have not said what type of evidence was gathered.
