Possible plane engine explosion under investigation at O'Hare

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Investigators are looking into an issue with a plane at O'Hare.

Pictures from the ground show the engine on a SkyWest plane clearly missing part of its cover. The FAA said it is unclear if there was an explosion.

The airline said the plane has been removed from service.

No passengers were on board and the time and no injuries were reported. The FAA is investigating.
