Protestors arrested after blocking Loop intersection, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some demonstrators were taken into custody after briefly stopping traffic in the Loop, police said.

The protestors were at LaSalle and Randolph during rush hour Monday before some were detained and removed from the street, police said.

The group was demonstrating against proposed state budget cuts.
