CHICAGO (WLS) -- A roof collapsed into a two and a half story bungalow in the 2500-block of Berteau Avenue near Horner Park on Chicago's North Side.

Fire officials say the building was vacant at the time of the collapse and is not currently occupied at all according to neighbors. No injuries have been reported so far.

It did some damage to the house next door.

"The roof went in, pushing the side walls out and those walls collapsed against our house," said Simon Reeves. "We have some internal damage, windows, window frames and bricks that actually came through the house into the living room and into the kitchen."

He's hoping there's no structural damage to his home.

The fire department is on the scene and checking for any gas leaks or other damage that could affect the neighborhood. They are also investigating the cause of the collapse.
