School bus catches fire on Chicago's Far South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- No one was injured when a school bus caught fire Tuesday afternoon on the city's Far South Side near 99th and Emerald Avenue.

School bus officials said the driver saw smoke, pulled over and evacuated the students. Minutes later the vehicle caught fire.

Illinois State Police said there were no injuries or major traffic disruptions.
