DETROIT (WLS) -- A summer cleaning project at a Detroit-area public library uncovered a valuable piece of art.
The sculpture was found inside the Grosse Point Public Library. It had been there for years but officials say they never really knew what its value was.
Little did they know, it's a rare work appraised at roughly $10 million.
Library officials say they are working to clean and restore the piece so it can go on permanent display inside the library.
