CHICAGO (WLS) -- Several people were taken into custody after a man barricaded himself inside his home in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.
Police were notified of the barricade situation in the 1600-block of West Sherwin Avenue around 2:40 a.m. Monday. The SWAT team responded and was on the scene for nearly five hours Monday morning.
The barricade situation ended without incident around 7:45 a.m. Neighbors who were evacuated from their houses and held on warming buses were back in their homes by 8 a.m.
Police have not released any further information.
