CHICAGO (WLS) -- Sources close to Shamiya Adams' family told Eyewitness News Tuesday night that police are talking to a person of interest about the shooting death of the 11-year-old girl.
Chicago police would not confirm that late Tuesday. Mayor Emanuel visited the family's home Tuesday night to again offer condolences.
Adams was killed by a stray bullet Friday night as she prepared for a slumber party with friends in West Garfield Park.
