SUV catches fire, explodes on Kennedy Expressway near Western Avenue

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was able to escape her SUV before it burst into flames on the outbound Kennedy Expressway near Western Avenue.

A small explosion coming from the burning vehicle was caught on video. As firefighters approached the SUV to put out the flames, there was another small explosion.

No one was hurt.
