Man, 19, found near Spring Awakening at Soldier Field dies

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago 19-year-old man found unresponsive over the weekend near Soldier Field has died. Chicago police suspect the death is drug related.

Investigators say Steve Vongkoth was found around 11:05 p.m. Saturday in the 1400-block of Museum Campus Drive and taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Vongkoth was found outside Soldier Field where the Spring Awakening Music Festival was taking place. The festival features electronic dance music.

Vongkoth, of the 6200 block of North Keystone, was pronounced dead at 9:52 a.m. Sunday. Area Central detectives are investigating.
