Officials are running out of room for donated supplies. Monetary donations, including gift cards, are needed more urgently than physical supplies, officials say. Alpine Bank in Kirkland is the primary monetary donation fund, but several local relief funds have been set up by neighboring towns as well.
Access to the area is restricted to residents and registered cleanup crews, volunteers and vendors. That remains the case until further notice, DeKalb County Sheriff Roger Scott said. Streets have been cleared of debris, allowing residents a chance to get back to their properties.
All interested contractors and vendors must register with the Attorney General's office at Rochelle High School before they are allowed to work in the area.

As tornado victims begin to piece together their lives, many said they are finding emotional support from within the church.
A special prayer vigil was held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle for the victims of the tornado. United Methodist Church in Rochelle is also collecting donations to help residents who have been impacted by the tornadoes.
