Van crashes into house in suburban Bloomingdale

BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. (WLS) -- A van crashed into a house in the west suburbs, rolled through two rooms and into the third before stopping Thursday night.

No one was home at the time of the accident and the Bloomingdale homeowner arrived about 10 minutes after firefighters around 7:30 p.m.

The driver was not hurt and is talking with police.

The fire department said crews were brought in to shore up the house, before the van was removed.
