Dog survives fall from 230-foot cliff in Oregon
A rescue team reunited a desperate owner with his dog after the Mastiff mix fell from a 230-foot cliff in Oregon.

MARION COUNTY, Ore. (WLS) -- A dog survived a fall off a 230-foot cliff in Oregon.

A rescue team from the Humane Society in Portland volunteered to help a desperate owner reach his dog, Ranger, who was injured after falling off a cliff near Butte Creek Falls.

After several hours and a number of failed attempts, the team was finally able to reach Ranger and pull the 80-pound Mastiff mix back to safety.

Ranger had a broken leg and a chest wound, but he is expected to be OK.
